Family Diner in Spirit Lake

Great breakfasts and lunches if you enjoy dining at a well established diner that features home cooked meals at their finest. Huge proportions and friendly, helpful servers make this a great dining experience. I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Big portions. Food is pretty good

You want a place to get a pile of home style food does a decent price? This is the place. I had a pork sandwich the size of a license plate. They are only open until 2 and run out of lunch specials if you wait too long. They also have Coke products. Salad bar is a good option too that not many places have anymore. I will definitely be going here again.

Nice cozy diner. Great food and service. Very reasonable prices. Large portions... Even though we had heard they were large we were surprised at the generous portions. The place seems to remain busy. We're considering going back tomorrow before heading back from vacation.

Great customer service, clean, amazing food! Don't underestimate the size of the omlettes, they are massive! You'll need a doggie bag for sure. Will definitely come back again, but I will order something smaller!

We enjoy the Family diner in Spirit Lake every summer. It has mammoth-sized portions of delicious comfort food. We especially love the pancakes. The chocolate chip pancakes are fun for adults and children alike. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant can be quite busy. They also make delicious and humongous cinnamon and caramel rolls. Fresh handmade pies are a perfect ending to lunch.Update: We were back again. We love the family diner whenever we are in Spirit Lake.

Great small town mom & pop place. Food is always excellent, everything homemade. Breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers & dinners. Daily specials with soup & salad bar. Can't go wrong eating here.

It was a bit packed but understandable hints as it was 11:00. Good servers. They were friendly and fast. Overall I really enjoyed the food.
